Fluorosilicone rubber (FVMQ), also known as&gamma- Trifluoropropyl methyl polysiloxane is a colorless, transparent, high viscosity, and plastic straight chain polymer compound that is commonly modified with 0.2% to 0.4% vinyl siloxane in its molecular chain. The main chain is composed of silicon and oxygen atoms, and the side groups connected to silicon are methyl, vinyl, and trifluoropropyl, with molecular weight ranging from 500000 to 800000. Combined with various additives, it can be blended into homogeneous rubber materials. Under the action of organic peroxides, it can be vulcanized into various elastic rubber products. In addition to the characteristics of ordinary silicone rubber, it also has excellent resistance to aviation fuel oil, hydraulic oil, engine oil, chemical reagents, and solvents. On the basis of maintaining the excellent properties of silicone materials such as heat resistance, cold resistance, high voltage resistance, and weather aging resistance, fluorine silicone O-rings also have excellent hydrogen solvent resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkaline resistance, and lower surface energy performance due to the introduction of fluorine containing groups.
